Operation Hands-Free begins Monday

Cats Shutout Rebels in District Opener
Evan Tomlin struck out 10 and tossed a complete game two hit shutout as the Tullahoma Wildcats opened district play with a 3-0 win over Franklin County. After a three up three down top of the first the Wildcats got on the board first as Andrew Fulmer and Tomlin singled. Fulmer then scored on a passed ball and error that also moved Tomlin to third. Tomlin came home a couple pitches later on another passed ball to give Tullahoma a 2-0 advantage.
Red Raider Baseball Opens District Play with Road Win
On Monday night in McMinnville, the Coffee County Red Raiders baseball team opened its 2024 District 9-AAAA season against the Warren County Pioneers. Warren County held a 1-0 lead after 3 innings and then the Red Raider bats got going. Coffee County ended the night with 11 hits and picked up a 6-4 win.

Interstate Construction Halted for Easter Holiday Travel
The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) will suspend all interstate construction work on Easter weekend in anticipation of increased holiday travel. TDOT crews and contractors will stop all road construction work that requires lane closures beginning Thursday, March 28, at 6:00 p.m. through Monday, April 1, at 6:00 a.m. This will provide maximum roadway capacity to motorists expected to travel across the state this upcoming holiday weekend.
Missing Truck Driver Found Deceased in Monteagle
Jallen Allen, a 27-year-old man from Pell City, Alabama, went missing after his 18-wheeler was found abandoned at the Pilot Truck Stop in Monteagle, TN, on February 29, 2024.
