Manchester’s American Legion Gold Star Post 78 is pleased to host its 2nd annual Post-Vietnam Veterans Honors Dinner on Saturday, May 11th, at the Coffee County Veterans Building, 130 Shelton Road in Manchester. Undernourished and Emaciated Horses Removed from Bedford County Property

Lady Cats Fall to Marshall County in Offensive Showcase
Tullahoma softball dropped a sluggfest to Marshall County on Senior Night Tuesday 23-17. Madison Goad and Kylee Holt stepped up to the plate in a big way. Goad got on base in five of her six plate appearances with a home run, three runs, and three RBI, while Holt scored three runs and stole four bases while getting on base in five of her six plate appearances. Goad is on a roll when it comes to RBI, as she’s now brought in three or more in the last four games she’s played. The team also got some help courtesy of Addyson Norman, who scored two runs while going 3-for-5.
Cats Down Tigers to defend District Crown
The fifth ranked Tullahoma Wildcats rallied Tuesday night to top Marshall County 4-1 and claim the District 8-3A regular season championship for the second year in a row. Playing for the sixth straight day, the Coffee County Lady Raiders were upset in softball on Tuesday night at Columbia. The Lady Lions won the District 9-AAAA game 3-2. The Lady Raiders outhit Columbia 8-4 but couldn’t get the baserunners in for the win. Willow Carden led the way, going 4-for-4 at the plate, including three doubles. On Monday night, the Columbia Lions defeated the Coffee County Red Raiders 7-5 in District 9-AAAA baseball action at Powers Field in Manchester. Man Found Guilty of Murder in Bedford County
In March of 2022, TBI agents joined Bedford County deputies in investigating a homicide after 32-year-old Sarah Angelina Johnson was found deceased in a home in the 31-hundred block of Sims Road.
