Elite 2026 RB Javian Osborne previews his Oregon visit

Forney (Texas) High On300 2026 running back Javian Osborne tells On3 he will visit Oregon this weekend.

Dan Lanning and the Ducks will be bringing in a few blue-chippers this weekend. Osborne ranks as the On3 Industry’s No. 4 running back while On3 slots him No. 1 at the position and the No. 20 prospect in the country.

“Definitely just being able to see the experience,” Osborne said of what he looks forward to. “It’s my first time so hopefully I’m able to kinda see how the atmosphere up there is, also the uniforms. And also seeing my former teammate (Aaron Flowers) and getting to spend some time with him.”

Nearly every powerhouse program from coast to coast has already offered the 5-foot-10, 190-pound Osborne. He feels a connection with Ducks running backs coach and Lone Star State native Ra’Shaad Samples. Several things stand out about Oregon.

“Really besides the football standpoint but kinda understanding and kinda being aware and knowing how Coach Samples is from a person can help me become a better man outside the field and that’s what I’m anxious to kinda see!” he said.

As a sophomore Osborne rushed for 2,154 yards and 37 touchdowns. He added two more receiving scores.
