Lake Mary (Fla.) High On300 2026 quarterback Noah Grubbs attended Notre Dame’s home game against Ohio State back in September and Irish head coach Marcus Freeman made a beeline over to the talented Sunshine State passer.

He said “we got you here, let’s keep you here.”

On3 is told “that was very impactful” and Notre Dame has a great chance to ultimately do just that. That was one of those moments during the process that has stuck with Grubbs.

After talking to a source about the recruitment on Monday morning, I’ve logged an On3 Industry RPM in favor of Notre Dame to eventually land a verbal from the 6-foot-4, 195-pound Grubbs.

From regular communication with Freeman, to the trajectory of the program, to the class sizes and degree, Notre Dame checks the boxes for the four-star Grubbs, who the On3 Industry pegs as the nation’s No. 9 quarterback and No. 106 prospect overall in 2026.

The Irish have been in control for awhile for Grubbs

ND has led since at least March for Grubbs following another visit to campus.

“Notre Dame went awesome! A trip I’ll never forget!”

The Irish are battling the likes of Michigan, Miami, Alabama, North Carolina and many others.

“I was blown away with what Notre Dame has to offer both on the field and in my career past football. I also had a conversation with former QB Sam Hartman and that was great because I heard all the great things coming from someone who lived what I am trying to do. He told me his recruiting process and why he chose and loved playing at Notre Dame. Being on TV every week is special and I take that as very important.”

Notre Dame has a top five recruiting class in 2025 and aims to do the same in 2026.
