Denton (Texas) Guyer On300 2026 safety Kaedyn Cobbs visited Nebraska at the end of July and head coach Matt Rhule and the Huskers made a major impression on the Lone Star State product.

“My visit to Nebraska was absolutely amazing,” Cobbs said. “The energy and passion of the coaching staff were off the charts. Coach Dvoracek, Coach McGuire, and Coach Rhule made me feel like Lincoln could be the perfect situation for me to thrive.”

Cobbs could see himself playing for Rhule.

“There is no doubt in my mind that God created Coach Rhule to be a football coach!” Cobbs stated. “The passion, care and respect he showed to all recruits and their families was genuine and from the heart.”

    Nebraska setting the bar early

It’s early in the process for the four-star Cobbs, but it’s obvious he’s high on his scholarship from Nebraska and looks forward to seeing how the process develops.

“Nebraska’s facilities are among the best in the country, and the historic vibe on the campus is incredible,” Cobbs said.

“It was a dream come true to see the stadium in person! You could almost feel the crowd roar. The highlight for me was definitely getting to spend time with the coaches and hearing Coach Rhule share his vision for recruits at Nebraska.”

Besides Nebraska, the 6-foot-1, 190-pound Cobbs holds early offers from Oklahoma State and Illinois among others.

“I am truly humbled to have the opportunity to be a Cornhusker! I’m excited and can’t wait to see what the future holds.”

On3 tabs Cobbs as the nation’s No. 8 safety and No. 82 prospect overall.
