With 20-plus offers to choose from, 2026 4-star linebacker Adam Balogoun-Ali says four schools are doing the best job of communicating with him.

One of them is the University of Florida , which views the South Florida native as a top priority at linebacker. Tennessee, Florida State and Penn State are pushing all the right buttons as well.

According to the On300 rankings, Balogoun-Ali is the No. 10 linebacker and No. 112 prospect overall.

“They’re definitely top five,” Balogoun-Ali said of Florida when speaking to Gators Online. “Everything is good. They are doing a good job of recruiting me. They text me every now and then. They understand I get busy, so they don’t try to overdo it and I appreciate that. Everything is going good.”

Adam Balogoun-Ali was taken aback by first game in the Swamp

Since landing an offer from Florida last year, Balogoun-Ali has traveled up to Gainesville multiple times. The most-recent experience took place on June 18, so plenty of familiarity is already in place.

“The culture is always something you got to take into perspective when you think about the Gators,” Balogoun-Ali said. “When I went to a game, the crowd was like none other I’ve seen before. That’s something that definitely caught my eye.”

Tasked with being the primary recruiter in the 4-star prospect’s recruitment is co-defensive coordinator and inside linebackers coach Ron Roberts .

“He’s a very technical guy and technical coach. That’s something I have with my coach right now. I can see myself learning from him,” Balogoun-Ali said. “I think he definitely has the program I can go through to get to the league.”

Florida will play host again during the season

Although no dates are scheduled, the Palm Beach Gardens (Fla.) The Benjamin School star plans to be in Gainesville this fall. Don’t rule out the Aug. 31 season opener against Miami either.

“I haven’t made a schedule yet, but I’m definitely going to look into a Florida game for sure. They made it known they want me as many games as I can be at,” said Balogoun-Ali.
