A’ja Wilson is still unstoppable, plus Aliyah Boston and Kamilla Cardoso notched career highs. Catch up on all the Gamecocks in the WNBA.

    Atlanta Dream (9-17)
Laeticia Amihere (11 games, 4.7 minutes, 1.2 pts, 1.9 rebs)
With the Dream as healthy as they have been all season, Amihere did not play last week.

    Last week:
    Vs Seattle (83-81 win): DNP-CD
    Vs Connecticut (82-70 win): DNP-CD

    Allisha Gray (26 games (26 starts), 32.7 mpg, 15.5 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 2.5 apg, 1.0 spg)
Getting Rhyne Howard and Jordin Canada back means Gray doesn’t have to do it all anymore. She was able to play her game and get two big wins.

    Last week:
    Vs Seattle (83-81 win): 38 minutes*, 19 points, 3 steals, 2 rebounds, 2 assists
    Vs Connecticut (82-70 win): 36 minutes*, 11 points, 4 assists, 3 rebounds

    Upcoming games:
Wednesday, August 21 vs Phoenix (7:30 ET, League Pass)
Friday, August 23 vs Phoenix (7:30 ET, Ion/League Pass)

    Chicago Sky (11-16)
    Kamilla Cardoso (21 games (18 starts), 25.7 mpg, 8.7 ppg, 7.8 rpg, 1.2 apg, 1.1 bpg)
Cardoso battled foul trouble most of the week. That didn’t stop her from a monster game against Los Angeles. She was one point away from her career-high and set a career-high for rebounds despite fouling out.

    Last week:
    Vs Phoenix (85-65 loss): 25 minutes*, 10 points, 5 rebounds, 2 steals
At Los Angeles (90-86 win): 28 minutes*, 15 points, 14 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 blocks
    At Phoenix (86-68 loss): 16 minutes*, 12 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists

    Connecticut Sun (19-7)
    Ty Harris (25 games (24 starts), 30.2 mpg, 11.2 ppg, 3.1 apg, 1.6 rpg, 1.1 spg)
Connecticut acquired Marina Mabrey before the break and is still trying to figure out how she fits in the rotation. That meant Harris came off the bench for the first time this season. They lost, so…

    Last week:
At Dallas (109-91 win): 25 minutes*, 14 points, 4 assists
At Atlanta (82-70 loss): 28 minutes, 12 points, 2 steals, assist

Tiffany Mitchell (24 games, 16.3 mpg, 4.9 ppg, 1.5 rpg)
Mitchell has not returned to the Sun following the break. She is out with an undisclosed illness.

    Last week:
    At Dallas (109-91 win): DNP-Illness
    At Atlanta (82-70 loss): DNP-Illness

Friday, August 23 vs Chicago (7:30 ET, Ion/League Pass)
Saturday, August 24 at New York (7:00 ET, League Pass)

    Indiana Fever (13-15)
    Aliyah Boston (28 games (28 starts), 30.7 mpg, 14.0 ppg, 9.0 rpg, 2.9 apg, 1.4 bpg)
Boston went into the break by scoring a career-high, and she has resumed her fine play by finishing one rebound shy of a career-high and dishing out a career-high eight assists.

    Last week:
Vs Phoenix (98-89 win): 33 minutes*, 14 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, steal
    Vs Seattle (92-75 win): 35 minutes*, 9 points, 15 rebounds, 8 assists

Victaria Saxton (7 games, 2.1 mpg, 0.4 ppg, 0.1 rpg)
Saxton made a classic trillionaire appearance last week.

    Last week:
    Vs Phoenix (98-89 win): DNP-CD
Vs Seattle (92-75 win): 1 minute, no stats

    Upcoming games:
Saturday, August 24 at Minnesota (8:00 ET, League Pass)

    Las Vegas Aces (17-9)
    A’ja Wilson (26 games (26 starts), 34.2 mpg, 27.3 ppg, 12.0 rpg, 2.2 apg, 2.8 bpg, 2.0 spg)
The Olympics did nothing to slow down Wilson. She now has 17 20/10 double-doubles this season, breaking her league record from last year. She is on pace to set the league record for average points and rebounds in a season.

    Last week:
Vs New York (79-67 loss): 36 minutes*, 24 points, 11 rebounds, 3 steals, 3 blocks
Vs Los Angeles (87-71 win): 34 minutes*, 34 points, 13 rebounds, 5 steals, 2 blocks

    Upcoming games:
Wednesday, August 21 vs Minnesota (9:30 ET, ESPN)
Friday, August 23 at Minnesota (9:30 ET, Ion/League Pass)
Sunday, August 25 at Chicago (Noon ET, CBS)

    Los Angeles Sparks (6-21)
    Zia Cooke (22 games, 9.2 mpg, 3.2 ppg, 0.7 rpg, 0.7 apg)
The Sparks’ season seems to be circling the drain, and it is discouraging that Cooke has become an afterthought in the rotation.

    Last week:
Vs New York (103-68 loss): 16 minutes, 3 points, 2 assists, rebound
    Vs Chicago (90-86 loss): DNP-CD
At Las Vegas (87-71 loss): 2 minutes, turnover

    Upcoming games:
Tuesday, August 20 at Connecticut (7:00 ET, League Pass)
Friday, August 23 at Washington (7:30 ET, Ion/League Pass)
Sunday, August 25 at Dallas (4:00 ET, League Pass)

    Phoenix Mercury (15-13)
    Mikiah Herbert Harrigan (22 games (3 starts), 11.5 mpg, 2.9 ppg, 1.5 rpg, 0.5 bpg, 0.6 spg)
Although she didn’t play much on Sunday, Herbert Harrigan’s role seems to have stabilized somewhat, and she is contributing solid minutes off the bench.

    Last week:
At Chicago (85-65 loss): 9 minutes, 2 points, 3 rebounds
At Indiana (98-89 loss): 11 minutes, 6 points, 2 rebounds, steal
Vs Chicago (86-68 win): 2 minutes, steal

    Upcoming games:
Wednesday, August 21 at Atlanta (7:30 ET, League Pass)
Friday, August 23 at Atlanta (7:30 ET, ion/League Pass)

    Unsigned
    Brea Beal
Las Vegas cut Beal early in training camp.

Alaina Coates (Preseason stats with Seattle: 2 games, 8.0 minutes, 3.0 pts, 1.0 reb, 1.0 block)
Coates got a long look in Seattle but didn’t fit in with the Storm’s rebuild. She’s got lots of experience, though, and will probably be one of the first calls for any team that needs post depth for the stretch run.

Kaela Davis (Preseason stats with Seattle: 2 games, 14.0 minutes, 1.5 points, 3.5 rebs)
Davis was hoping to show she was fully recovered from an Achilles injury, but she didn’t do enough to convince Seattle.

    Destanni Henderson (6 games, 17.5 mpg, 4.0 ppg, 2.0 rpg, 2.5 apg)
Henderson was productive in a two-week stint for Atlanta but was released on Thursday, July 18. That was a given with her seven-day contract about to end and the season on hiatus. The question is whether she will get picked up for the second half.
