2025 TE Stevie Amar commits to Boston College

Onxard (Calif.) Oaks Christian three-star tight end Stevie Amar has committed to Boston College , he announced on Saturday morning.

He chose the Eagles while also holding Power Four offers from California, Arizona State, BYU, Baylor, Arizona, SMU, Texas Tech and Louisville.

Amar is the No. 831 overall prospect and No. 49 TE in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking , a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 64 player in California.

The 6-foot-3.5, 225-pounder becomes commitment No. 23 for new head coach Bill O’Brien and the BC staff. The Eagles’ class ranks No. 58 in the nation and No. 14 in the ACC, according to the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings .

The Eagles are without a blue-chip pledge in the 2025 cycle. A pair of athletes headline the class in Orlando Edgewater three-star Semaj Fleming and Sicklerville (N.J.) Winslow Township three-star Marcus Upton .

Jenks (Okla.) three-star quarterback Shaker Reisig is a former Utah pledge who joined the BC class on June 18. Amar is now the third tight end in the class, flanking Roswell (Ga.) Blessed Trinity Catholic three-star Bryce Lewis and Worcester (Mass.) three-star Griffin Collins .

Other top commits in the class include: Ramsey (N.J.) DePaul Catholic three-star ATH Nolan James , Noblesville (Ind.) three-star EDGE Israel Oladipupo , Brockton (Mass.)
