2025 class wide receiver committed elsewhere reports Notre Dame football offer Tuesday

Another name has emerged on Notre Dame football’s 2025 class wide receiver board. And it is a player currently verbally committed to another program.

On Tuesday, Orlando (Fla.) Boone three-star recruit Isaiah Mizell announced a scholarship offer from the Fighting Irish on social media . He reports 20 total offers and has been pledged to Arizona since July 10.

According to the On3 Industry Ranking — a proprietary algorithm that compiles ratings and rankings from all four primary recruiting media services — Mizell is the No. 765 overall player, No. 115 wide receiver nationally and No. 100 prospect in Florida in the 2025 class.

In On3’s rankings, he’s the No. 78 wide receiver in the country and the No. 89 recruit in Florida.

The 6-foot, 160-pound Mizell is the fourth 2025 pass catcher the Irish have offered since striking out on their initial targets — Tanook Hines , Dylan Robinson and Derek Meadows — after they officially visited in June. During the third week of August, Notre Dame revealed its interest in Jace Brown , Jalen Cooper and Antavious Richardson . It continues to recruit Meadows behind the scenes.

Cibolo (Texas) Steele’s Cooper, an SMU commit, is the highest-ranked of the new offer group. The On3 Industry Ranking considers him a four-star who ranks as the No. 257 overall player, No. 39 wide receiver in America and No. 38 player in Texas in 2025.

Notre Dame expects to host Cooper on an official visit for the Stanford game on Oct. 12.

Downey (Calif.) Warren’s Brown and Greenville (Ga.) High’s Richardson are three-star prospects.

Brown is the No. 575 overall player, No. 90 wide receiver in the nation and No. 45 prospect in California. He committed to UCLA on July 4. The 6-2, 195-pound pass catcher should get his first look at the Irish during an OV for the Louisville game on Sept. 28.

On Tuesday, On3 vice president of recruiting and transfer portal Steve Wiltfong reported that Mizell could also be in South Bend when the Irish take on the Cardinals.

Before those visits occur, the Irish will look to get Richardson, a USF safety commit, to campus for the Miami (Ohio) game on Sept. 21. He is the No. 806 overall player, No. 42 “athlete” nationally and No. 89 prospect in Georgia in the class.

Notre Dame has two three-star wide receivers verbally committed in the 2025 class: Elijah Burress and Jerome Bettis Jr. Wayne (N.J.) DePaul Caholic’s Burress and College Park (Ga.) Woodward Academy’s Bettis are the No. 87 and 131 wide receivers in the class, respectively.
