Kenny Brooks has hit the recruiting trail hard in the last several weeks, and he’s even making pushes for prospects that may fly under the radars of some — like 2025 four-star guard Madie Parrish.

On Thursday, On3’s Talia Goodman reported that Parrish was focusing on six schools here in the final stages of her recruitment . The schools? West Virginia, Michigan, Penn State, Wake Forest, Purdue and of course, Kentucky. While this isn’t necessarily a “Top 6” or “Final 6”, you can take it to the bank that it’ll be one of the these six schools that she commits to.

Parrish visited Kentucky earlier this summer, and the last of her visits will take place at West Virginia (Sept. 20-22) and Penn State (Oct. 4-6). Parrish told Goodman that she’ll likely make a decision following those last couple of visits.

Additionally, Parrish told Goodman about what she thought of her six “finalists”. Like you see with many recruits, she’s very high on Brooks and the staff as a whole.

“It’s been good. I talked to coach Kenny Brooks and his staff, coach Lindsey [Hicks], too, when they were back at Virginia Tech,” Parrish said of the ‘Cats. “When the coaching changes happened, he decided to re-offer me and all that, but it’s been a good connection. Also, coach Josh Petersen, I talked to him while he was at Miami, so I definitely have established those connections and relationships with their staff.”

Heading into what could be the last few weeks of her recruitment, Kentucky seems to be very competitive amongst the five other schools in contention for her talents.
