First up this morning in your Miami Hurricanes news?
Stay tuned today as we’ll have feedback upon further review of the Ball State game from coaches Mario Cristobal, Shannon Dawson and Lance Guidry. You don’t want to miss their perspective.
And, of course, we had you fully covered from Saturday’s game with Gary Ferman’s column, post-game interviews with Mario Cristobal and players, our position by position grading column, Pro Football Focus grades, Gary Ferman answering all your post-game questions on the message board, our game analysis story and much more.
This morning we also take a closer look at Miami’s remaining opponents and how they’ve fared. Is it a pretty clear path for the Canes the rest of the way?
In recruiting we also have plenty for you.
From over the weekend we were Live From The Crib with Pembroke Pines (Fla.) West Broward at their game and spoke with four-star receiver Joshua Moore, a top-75 Florida commit and Miami flip target. He showed us why he’s worth the hype and talked about his commitment status.
And from our post-game coverage we caught up with 5-star offensive lineman Michael Carroll. Is the Alabama commit considering the Canes now? Don’t miss that update.
Another visitor we spoke to after he attended the win on Saturday … and again on Sunday after a campus visit … was IMG Academy four-star 2026 offensive tackle Keenyi Pepe. The U is continuing to stand out to the No. 54 overall prospect and No. 7 offensive tackle in the On3 Industry Ranking, so don’t miss what he had to say.
IMG Academy On300 2026 offensive lineman Breck Kolojay was also on hand for the game and spent his Sunday morning in Coral Gables with the Canes staff. He shares his insight off that experience.
Also visiting was four-star EDGE commit Herbert Scroggins III. He shares his thoughts off the game and where things stand with his pledge.
A Saturday/Sunday visitor was Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna four-star 2026 ATH Derrek Cooper, who is high on Miami and shares where things stand.
And we catch up with Milton (Fla.) Pace four-star center Grant Wise, who has his share of ties to Miami … and holds enough interest in the Hurricanes to lock in a game-day visit for the Hurricanes’ Oct. 26 game against Florida State.
Another update is with Charlotte (N.C.) William Amos Hough three-star 2026 receiver Tyran Evans. He has only landed a handful of offers thus far, but Miami didn’t hesitate to pull the trigger.
Plus we look at six top recruits Miami’s trending up with. So don’t miss that, either.
In basketball recruiting? This past weekend, the Miami Hurricanes hosted four-star point guard Isaiah Denis for his official visit. The trip to Coral Gables was Denis’ first, and the elite prospect left South Florida with a different perspective of the city and Canes basketball program. Get his thoughts.
And, as always, stay tuned today for any news that may come up.
