Deion Sanders garners a lot of attention for his Colorado football program, even from LeBron James . That shouldn’t be surprising.

After an epic overtime victory over Baylor to improve to 3-1, Colorado is rolling into Week 5. So, James decided to send a pair of shoes to Coach Prime.

However, two-way star Travis Hunter caught wind and decided to take them for himself. Jokingly, of course.

The video can be seen below.

“LeBron’s, LeBron’s … appreciate you,” Hunter said. “I know you sent these to Coach Prime, he ain’t never heard of me though. I like to take shoes. I did my job man. I got some offensive stats and defensive stats.”

    “What’s that,” Sanders asked.

“These are the LeBron’s he sent you,” Hunter responded. Can I have them? You don’t need to see them, you ain’t gonna wear them. They too hard for your toes. Yup … He can’t say no when you really want it.”

It’s hard for Sanders to say no to Hunter, that is indeed correct. Hunter finished the win over Baylor with seven catches for 130 yards and logged three tackles and a forced fumble, which proved to be the game-winner.

Colorado won 38-31 but trailed 24-10 at one point. They ended up pulling off what looked like a miracle.

“Great, great, great, great win. Young men were resilient. They never gave up. They never surrendered. The coaches were still inspired. I mean, all the way to the end, they were still calling and devising things,” Sanders said postgame. “And once we scored, we were already thinking, Okay, we want to defer if we win, because we want to put our defense out first, but they won to toss, and it went from there. I don’t like how it played out, but I love the results.

“I think we’re so much better than what we’re showing you at times. We keep showing you glimpses of a running game. We show you we can throw the ball all around, and then we just stall for a series of two and surrender something foolishly, but I’m pleased, and thank you. I’m thankful. One step closer to getting Miss Peggy to a Bowl game. So I’m really proud of that.”
