Indiana aims to improve to 5-0 on Saturday, looking for a second Big Ten victory over Maryland on Saturday afternoon.

As the buzz continues around the Hoosiers, head coach Curt Cignetti and this first-year staff has the team playing at a high level on both sides of the ball, recruits are really starting to take notice.

Several key prospects will be on campus this weekend.

Indianapolis (Ind.) Decatur Central 2026 cornerback Kasmir Hicks is one of the headliners. The Hoosiers offered after having him in camp in June.  The 5-foot-11, 160-pound Hicks is having a fabulous junior season, picking off three passes and forcing a fumble through the first five games. He’s also only needed 16 receptions to rack up 351 yards and four touchdowns. He’s got a pick six to his name and a kickoff ran back for a score.

Saline (Mich.) High 2026 linebacker Isaiah Harris is one of IU’s top targets in 2026 and was one of the first juniors extended a scholarship by this new staff.

Louisville (Ky.) St. Xavier 2026 Karsten Busch is a big, physical, second-level defender that is getting a lot of looks. He’s an offer candidate.

In the 2027 class tight end Jackson Ballinger has an early offer from the Hoosiers and offensive tackle Cameron Wagner is another prominent prospect to know.

Indiana will have a few commits back from the 2025 class in athlete Seaonta Stewart , defensive lineman Kyler Garcia and offensive lineman Matt Marek .

Coming into the Maryland game the Hoosiers boast the country’s No. 5 scoring offense and No. 11 total offense. They’ve been even better on defense, sitting at No. 3 in total defense and No. 7 in scoring defense.
