McDaniel has appeared in one game this fall for the Hoosiers. This is his fifth collegiate season and second in Bloomington after playing at Old Dominion and Independence Community College. Logan has yet to play in one this season after transferring this offseason following four years at UMass .

McDaniel has totaled 16 tackles in his 26 appearances in Division I with the Monarchs and Hoosiers.

Logan made 30-plus appearances while with the Minutemen. While there, he posted 128 tackles, 2.5 sacks, and three deflections.

McDaniel, a native of Irmo, South Carolina, played high school football at Dutch Fork . He was a three-star prospect there as the No. 1,627 overall recruit in the 2020 cycle . He was also a Top-40 prospect in his state and a Top-75 athlete. That’s according to the On3 Industry Ranking , a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Logan, who comes from Horsham, Pennsylvania, attended Hatboro-Horsham in the same cycle in 2020. He was the No. 2,385 overall recruit while being a Top-40 prospect in his state and a Top-300 LB.

This comes after Indiana got to 5-0 this weekend following their second conference win of the season. They are now in the AP Top-25 for the first time in three years at No. 23. That’s been quite the start for the Hoosiers in their first year under their new head coach in Curt Cignetti .
