    West Monona softball eliminated from championship bracket with 4-3 walk-off loss to Audubon

    FORT DODGE, Iowa (KCAU) – #3 Audubon’s Riley Miller registered the game-winning hit in the bottom of the seventh, advancing the Wheelers to the next round of the 2A State Tournament in a 4-3 walk-off win over #6 West Monona.

    The Spartans scored three runs on four hits while starting pitcher Abby Hiatt struck out eight batters in a complete game effort. West Monona moves to the consolation bracket and will play #2 Northeast tomorrow at 12:15 p.m. in Fort Dodge.
