Murder suspect found Tuesday near Oak Ridge Quarry
Juan Carlos Diaz Perez, the man accused of murder in the slaying of a woman in Knoxville, was found and arrested near the Oak Ridge Quarry late Tuesday afternoon by the U.S. Marshals Smokey Mountain Fugitive Task Force. Knoxville man to face trial in killing of former co-worker who fired him
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — A Knoxville man will stand trial for murder in the killing this year of a former co-worker at a transportation yard. A grand jury indicted Daniel Arwood, 38, for first-degree murder, evading arrest and illegal possession of a weapon. He'll now face trial in Knox County Criminal Court.
