CULLMAN, Ala. – The Cullman Tractor Supply store is inviting young gardeners to its Plant-A-Seed event for a free opportunity to learn the basics of gardening with a hands-on activity. On July 27, 2024, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., young customers can visit the store to plant a Perennial Butterfly Garden, while supplies last. A team member will be available to guide the children in the activity and explain the best ways to nurture and care for their future garden. Once complete, participants can take their seeds home to monitor their growth and watch them attract butterflies as they flourish. Team members will be available to answer future questions and provide advice to these young gardeners. Participating event partners will include the Cullman County Master Gardeners. “At Tractor Supply, our mission is to educate and inspire our younger customers through interactive learning experiences,” said Cullman store manager Seth Johnson. “We recognize the time and energy that goes into cultivating plant life, and we want to share our knowledge with this younger generation as they begin to discover their own interests and hobbies.” The Plant-A-Seed event will take place at 1731 Second Ave. SW. Victory Cheer Academy introducing new Victory Gymnastics program in September
CULLMAN, Ala. – Victory Cheer Academy recently announced the launch of its new gymnastics program, Victory Gymnastics, with evaluations scheduled from Aug. 20-23, from 4-7 p.m. As spaces are limited, prospective participants are encouraged to book their slots early to ensure enrollment. Additionally, early registrants will receive a $30 discount on September tuition. Those who sign up by July 31 will be entered into a drawing for free tuition in September, while those who sign up by Aug. 19 will be entered to win a free leotard.
