The North Carolina Department of Insurance says Chastity Keeter was charged last week with one count of second-degree arson, two counts of first-degree arson, two counts of burning personal property and one count of attempting first-degree arson, all felonies. She was also charged with three misdemeanor counts of child abuse.

Church and community unite to provide weekend meals for the needy
Onslow County, NC — One church in our area is partnering with a local agency to keep people fed over the weekend. Servant’s Tabernacle Ministries out of Beulaville served bagged lunches out of Onslow Community Outreach Sunday, July 7. Local businesses and healthcare providers donated clothing items, served ice cream, and shared information about Medicare plans. Keeter was charged with one count of second-degree arson, two counts of first-degree arson, two counts of burning personal property and one count of attempting first-degree arson, all felonies. She was also charged with three misdemeanor counts of child abuse.
