Stories you might have missed from across Wisconsin. Ashwaubenon: Manure Spill being investigated. Put down your lunch until this story is over. The Wisconsin Department of Natural resources is investigating a manure spill that took place in Eastern Outagamie County and western Brown County. The spill resulted in a fish kill. Tuesday, the department was notified of manure in Dutchman Creek and then a staffer noticed dead fish in the creek. The source of the manure is unknown but the DNR and county Land Conservation are on scene looking into the issue. The DNR is recommending that people and pets avoid contact with Dutchman Creek. Florida man charged with fraudulently selling jewelry as ‘Native American-Made’ in Wisconsin
MADISON, Wis. (WFRV) – A 45-year-old Florida man has been charged in Wisconsin for fraudulently selling jewelry as Native American-made. According to a release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Wisconsin, Jose Farinango Muenala from Casselberry, Florida, is charged with wire fraud, mail fraud, and misrepresenting Indian-produced goods.

Garrett Jones had tears in his eyes Thursday as he walked up the steep hill from the 18th green to the clubhouse at The Legend at Merrill Hills. The Madison golfer had just won the 123rd Wisconsin State Amateur, and friends and fellow competitors were stopping him every few feet to congratulate him, to hug him, to show their appreciation for a job well done. Car crashes through garage roof of southeast Minnesota home
LA CRESCENT, Minn. — A motorist lost control of their car, went airborne and crashed into the garage roof of a southeastern Minnesota home on Thursday morning.WXOX reports it happened at about 10:30 a.m. in the city of La Crescent, just across the Mississippi River from La Crosse, Wisconsin.The motorist drove off County Road 25, down a steep embankment and onto the home's attached garage below.No one was home at the time. WXOX reports the motorist was hospitalized and is in stable condition as of Thursday evening.
