    Jay is a Jay, folks.

Former Penn State baseball player Jay Harry was traded to the Toronto Blue Jays on Tuesday afternoon after spending this season with the Minnesota Twins High-A affiliate.

The New Jersey native was sent to the Blue Jays in exchange for right-handed pitcher Trevor Richards, who’s in his 10th MLB season.

Harry, 22, spent three seasons with the Nittany Lions, and finished his college career with a batting average of .304, along with 169 hits and 12 doubles.

After his time in Happy Valley, Harry was a 2023 sixth-round pick by the Twins, and with the High-A Cedar Rapids Kernels, he had a career of 100 hits and nine home runs behind a .248 batting average.
