    Former Penn State Safety Adrian Amos Signs With Jacksonville Jaguars

    Former Penn State safety Adrian Amos has signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Jaguars announced Tuesday. Details on his contract were not released.

    Amos played for Penn State from 2011-14 and was a huge contributor for the Nittany Lions. During that time, he recorded 149 tackles, seven interceptions, and three sacks. He was a three-time All-Big Ten honorable mention.

    After college, Amos entered the 2015 NFL Draft and was selected in the fifth round by the Chicago Bears . He played for four seasons, earning an NFL All-Rookie selection, before joining the Green Bay Packers in 2019.

    Amos spent four seasons with the Packers before splitting the 2023-24 season with the New York Jets for 11 games and with the Houston Texans for five games.

    During his nine seasons in the NFL, Amos has recorded 664 tackles, 28 tackles for loss, 49 passes defended, 10 interceptions, nine quarterback hits, six sacks, six forced fumbles, and three fumble recoveries.

    Amos will join former Nittany Lion wide receiver Parker Washington and tight end Brenton Strange on the Jaguars.
