Penn State Football Opens As 49-Point Favorite Over Kent State

After an early bye week for Penn State football, the Nittany Lions get back in action at Beaver Stadium against Kent State at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 21, to round off the out-of-conference schedule.

After surrendering 71 points and scoring none against then-No. 7 Tennessee, Kent State opened as a 49-point underdog to No. 10 Penn State. Additionally, the over-under is set at 55 points, according to DraftKings .

Two weeks ago, Penn State failed to cover a 35-point against Bowling Green, however, partly due to a poor effort on defense for the Nittany Lions, the total points reached the over, which was set at 49 points.

The result moved Penn State to 1-1 against the spread and 1-1 against the over-under so far this season. Kent State, on the other hand, is 0-3 against the spread and 2-1 against the over-under in its first three games.
