It’s time to dust off your resumes, folks!

Fall Career Days are back at Penn State, meaning it’s the season of elevator pitches and business casual looks. However, finding a quality outfit to wear that won’t break the bank may be hard to come by.

Luckily, Penn State Career Services, in partnership with UPUA, has solved this problem by creating the “Professional Attire Closet” (PAC). Located at the Bank of America Career Services Building on the corner of Bigler Road and Eisenhower Road, the closet provides students with a wide range of suits and business casual clothes, which they can take free of charge.

The professional clothing is ready to wear and freshly cleaned, courtesy of Monarch Dry Cleaners. With an array of different sizes, styles, and outfit types, students can find the perfect look to sport at this year’s career days.

There’s a limit of one outfit per student per academic year, and students must bring their student ID to access the closet.

Senior Associate Director of Career Services Michael Pennington said having a resource like the PAC is important for students on campus. He said not having access to professional clothing shouldn’t prevent a student from reaching success.

“The PAC is a critical resource to help Penn Staters have the confidence and wardrobe they need to succeed during job interviews, career fairs, networking events, and other career-related activities,” Pennington said. “All students are welcome.”

The clothes for the closet are locally donated by alumni, faculty, community members, and students. If you’re interested in donating, the PAC accepts a variety of suit jackets, blazers, dress skirts, pants, dresses, and ties.

If you want to dress to impress at this year’s Fall Career Days, stop by the closet anytime from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. No appointments are necessary.
