Brainstorming Items That Should Be Dropped Out Of A Helicopter At Beaver Stadium

Before a football game at Bixby High School in Oklahoma earlier this season, Chick-fil-A toys were dropped onto the field out of a helicopter.

This got us thinking: Can a helicopter come to Beaver Stadium and drop things onto our heads?

With that in mind, here are some items we think a helicopter should send into Beaver Stadium before a Penn State football game that would make fans happy.

    Hot Dogs

Who doesn’t love a good stadium hot dog? I’m sure the helicopter would have the ability to keep them warm before dropping them in for lucky fans who catch them to enjoy. Just make sure to send down mustard and ketchup, as well.

    Foam Footballs

This would be a very safe option since foam footballs would just bounce off the bleachers if no fan caught them. However, they’d be pretty easy to catch and would make for a fun pregame activity. Folks could even mimic Drew Allar’s pregame throwing routine.

    Hats & Gloves

It gets cold in State College, and with three more home games to be played in November, dropping hats and gloves out of a helicopter would warm up a lot of Penn State football fans. Hand warmers would be a good option too.

    Creamery Ice Cream

Imagine thousands of pints of ice cream being dropped into Beaver Stadium from the sky. I haven’t quite thought through how to drop spoons from the helicopter, but Berkey Creamery ice cream is good with or without a spoon.

    Bookstore Merchandise

During each game at Beaver Stadium, a Penn State bookstore item of the game is announced, but fans have to take the trip to the bookstore themselves. So, let’s simplify the process and have the merchandise dropped out of a helicopter.

    The Nittany Lion

    Catch!
