The Highland Group Awarded Elberta Bank Renovation Project
The Highland Group has announced it was awarded a new renovation project for the historic Centennial Bank branch building, located at 24989 State Street in Elberta. This renovation encompasses 4,856 ft2 and aims to modernize and enhance the existing branch bank building. The project will involve significant interior and exterior architectural and mechanical, electrical and plumbing demolition before commencing new construction. The Highland Group is collaborating with GWG3 Architects on the project.

MPD: Fleeing vehicle hits 2 other vehicles
MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - A high-speed chase Thursday night resulted in several other vehicles being hit, according to the Mobile Police Department. The pursuit began around 7:48 p.m. when an officer spotted a vehicle speeding on Pleasant Valley Road and tried to initiate a traffic stop. However, the driver refused to stop and led police on a short chase, MPD said.

After 30 years of law practice, Smith opened South Alabama ADR to provide settlement services for parties in court conflict including divorce and family court cases.
