    Top architects, designers, and movers-and-shakers from throughout the region gathered at Burkhart Bros.’ Newport Beach headquarters for a sumptuous afternoon meal in the luxury home builder’s state-of-the-art kitchen. Company founders Bryan and Mark Burkhart tapped Michelin-star Chef Michael Collantes, of popular Soseki Modern Omakase restaurant in Florida, to prepare an indulgent multicourse experience, delighting guests who watched as he whipped up courses featuring lobster handrolls, lime-and-miso buttered bluefin tuna (flown in from Japan) with beluga caviar, king crab miso corn chowder, and ribeye with black garlic jus, among other culinary creations. And there were wines and sake to sip as well—some hand-picked from Bryan’s own collection. Cheers!
