Man dies after being found unresponsive in Discovery Cove Orlando pool: Sheriff's office
ORLANDO, Fla. - A man has died after being found unresponsive in a Discovery Cove Orlando pool on Monday morning, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Office. Douglas Reid, 51, was taken to Orlando Health Doctor Phillips for a possible drowning and was pronounced deceased at the hospital on Monday evening. The cause and manner of his death is pending an investigation by the Orange County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The legal battle for Regina Hill, the suspended District 5 commissioner, continues as she is set to appear at the Orange County courthouse on Tuesday. Hill faces accusations of fraud and exploiting an elderly woman, charges to which she has entered a not-guilty plea. According to Spectrum News 13, she was suspended by Gov. Ron DeSantis post-indictment.
