ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. - A 3-year-old boy with autism who was reported missing from an Orlando resort is deceased, the Orange County Sheriff's Office said in a post on X. "It is with heavy hearts that we must share that our deputies have found Rakim Akbari deceased in a body of water at the resort where he was reported missing this morning. Our detectives are still looking into how this tragedy occurred," the post read. "We are grieving his loss, and our prayers are with his family."

ORLANDO, Fla. — The Orange County Sheriff's Office is looking for a 3-year-old boy who wandered away from an Orlando resort on Thursday morning. According to a post from OCSO, Rakim Akbari, who has autism, was wearing white, green and red pajama pants and a maroon shirt when he was last seen at the Sheraton Vistana Resort Villas at Lake Buena Vista.
