County sees increase in sales as Orange city goes down
The city of Orange is continuing to see a big drop in sales tax income as most of the other entities in the county are seeing healthy sales at their businesses. Orange County declares disaster as Hurricane Beryl approaches
ORANGE COUNTY, Texas — Orange County Judge John Gothia has issued a Declaration of Disaster due to the imminent threat posed by Hurricane Beryl. The declaration, effective immediately, warns of potential property damage, injury, widespread flooding, storm surge, damaging winds, and heavy rain. Citizens are urged to take necessary precautions and monitor local weather stations for updates, according to a statement from the County.
