    Orange Recreation Center is home to Easter Egg, basketball and volleyball fun

    Orange Recreation Center is the place for community, physical activity and a little friendly competition.

    A busy schedule is planned through next month, so if you are interested, the time is now to sign up and mark your calendars.

    The fun includes:

    • Annual Community Easter Egg Hunt,
    • Spike the Spring Volleyball Tournament, and
    • Turn the Heat Up 3v3 Basketball Tournament.

    Easter Egg Hunt

    Hop into Spring with the annual Easter Egg Hunt.

    Join the community on Good Friday (March 29) from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Riverside Pavilion on Simmons Drive for an “EGG-citing day of fun,” with an Easter Egg Hunt, petting zoo and games.

    Bring your Easter baskets and enjoy an “EGG-straordinary time” with the whole family.

    The Easter Egg Hunt begins at 10 a.m. Remember to bring your basket.

    Please note, no dogs or pets will be allowed at Riverside Pavilion.

    Spike the Spring

    A volleyball tournament is planned at Orange Recreation Center April 6 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

    There is no entry fee.

    Age groups are for 14 – 18.

    Sign up as a team with 6 – 10 players per team.

    Individuals can sign up on a waitlist to be added to a team, if spots are available.

    It’s co-ed with no regulation on gender.

    Register by March 27 at Orange Recreation Center

    Prizes will be awarded to the first and second place teams.

    Basketball

    Turn the heat up with a 3-on-3 basketball tournament at Orange Recreation

    Center April 13 at 10 a.m.

    There is no entry fee.

    The age group is 14 – 18 with three players per team and no substitutes.

    Individuals can sign up on a waitlist to be added to a team, if spots are available.

    The games are co-ed with no regulation on gender.

    Register to play by April 5 at the Orange Recreation Center

    Prizes will be awarded to the first and second place teams.
