    Weather Service outlines increased severe storm risk for Tuesday and Wednesday

    The threat of severe weather continues into Tuesday, where we have an Enhanced (level 3 of 5) Risk of severe storms possible.

    The latest update is the upgrade to a Moderate (level 4 of 5) Risk for Wednesday morning.

    All modes of severe weather are possible including large hail, damaging wind gusts, and tornadoes.

    The National Weather Service outlines Severe Weather Potential for today into Wednesday.

    Rainfall amounts are expected to range from 1 to 4 inches with locally higher amounts.

    The potential for severe storms will increase during this afternoon into evening, then continue overnight into the first part of Wednesday.

    Showers will be increasing over the early morning hours with severe weather possible late this afternoon and evening.

    The greater potential will be across southeast Texas and parts of central Louisiana.
