The Multnomah County Board of Commissioner approved a resolution on Aug. 1 to more accurately mirror the City of Portland’s methods of accountability outlined in its three-year, intergovernmental agreement with the county to collaboratively address the region’s homeless crisis.
Eastport Food Center Empties Out
As of August 1st, all vendors have left the Eastport Food Center cart pod, and the business appears to have closed permanently. The owner of the 23,000-square-foot dining destination at 3905 SE 82nd Avenue listed the business for sale in 2022. In May, the location’s website went offline, and carts began moving off property in significant numbers last month. Now, the facility is closed without a posted notice.
Pioneer Square hosts Oregon Chinese Coalition's Chinese Festival on Saturday, Aug. 3
PORTLAND, Ore. — The Oregon Chinese Festival returns to Pioneer Square on Saturday, Aug. 3, for a day of performances, traditional cuisine and cultural exhibits.
