Fees Texas inmates pay to make calls will be slashed under new federal regulations approved this month. Tyler city council approves new Lake Tyler Master Plan
TYLER, Texas — The city of Tyler approved a contract for the development of the Lake Tyler Master Plan this week. The Tyler city council held a vote on Wednesday for a contract with Halff Associates, Inc. totaling $449,275 to provide the city with a comprehensive list of recommendations for the Lake Tyler Master Plan, which will take into account the city's current and future needs at Lake Tyler and Lake Tyler East.
Baseball Earns ABCA Team Academic Honors
LONGVIEW, Texas — The LeTourneau baseball team notched one more honor for the 2024 season as the YellowJackets earned Team Academic Excellence accolades from the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA). It is the second time in the last three seasons LeTourneau has garnered the award. The YellowJackets also collected the award in 2022.
