Portland Trail Blazers’ Offseason Oversight: No Three-Point Help
The Portland Trail Blazers ended the 2023-24 season tied for the third-worst NBA record at 21-61, primarily due to a young roster and various injuries. A significant problem they failed to tackle in the offseason is their three-point shooting, finishing last in the league at 34.5%. With the departure of Malcolm Brogdon, their most efficient shooter, the Blazers’ struggle to enhance floor spacing remains evident. However, the addition of Deni Avdija, who improved his three-point accuracy to 37.4%, may partially offset this loss. The team's focus on player development aligns with their strategy to secure a top draft pick in 2025.

This installment of Randy’s Warbird Profiles takes a look at the Curtiss P-40M-10-CU Kittyhawk Mk. III constructor’s number 27490, USAAF s/n 43-5802.

Of course, in Minnesota, sometimes snow arrived as early as Halloween. What a joy that was!
