61-year-old man dies after being hit by car in east Salem
A 61 year-old Salem man is dead after he was hit by a vehicle on Sunday morning on State Street near 47th Avenue SE, according to the Marion County Sheriff's Office. 911 callers reported a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle just before 10 a.m. Sunday, according to the sheriff's office.
