I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Portland City Grill, a stylish restaurant with a panoramic view of the city's night scene. It's the perfect spot for a romantic date or a special celebration. The Kung Pao Calamari, salsiccia E gambretto fettuccine, and garlic mushrooms were delightful, although the braised beef short ribs were a tad dry for my taste.
The service was top-notch, with the staff being particularly gentle and attentive. The restaurant also boasts a strong Asian food influence, with the Pork Belly and Steamed Buns being a revelation. The private rooms are stunning, adding to the overall appeal of the place.
The clam chowder served hot and the perfectly cooked medium rare rib eye were highlights of the meal. The bread was also excellent, setting the tone for the rest of the meal. The only slight disappointment was the appetizer scallops, which were a bit overpowered by the sauce. But overall, the Portland City Grill offers a fantastic dining experience with a breathtaking view of Portland. It's a place I'd highly recommend and can't wait to visit again.
