Stepping into St. Bakery SE Division, I was immediately drawn to the exquisite small cakes displayed in the window. I couldn't resist and ended up buying three fruit tarts. They were a delight, with a super crispy crust and a filling that was perfectly balanced, not overly sweet. Even my boyfriend, who is not a big fan of sweets, thoroughly enjoyed them.
The service at St. Bakery SE Division was commendable, with my cafe au lait served in no time at all. It was as yummy and smooth as I expected. I also tried a slice of their opera cake. While it was tasty, it didn't quite blow my mind. The place has a fair amount of indoor seating, making it a comfortable spot to enjoy your treats.
The macarons here are a must-try. I was never a big fan of macarons until I tried the blackcurrant and passion fruit ones here. The delicate texture with a soft jammy inside was simply delightful. I also tried the Croque monsieur, which was thin but pretty solid. The Jambon parisen, however, was a bit of a letdown as the bread was too chewy for my liking. But the ingredients were top-notch. The location is beautiful, with a friendly staff, lots of sitting room, and a clean environment. Definitely a place worth visiting for high-quality, tasty items.
