I recently had the pleasure of dining at Clyde's Prime Rib Restaurant and Bar, and let me tell you, it was an experience that went beyond my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere enveloped me with a warm and inviting vibe. The place might look unassuming from the outside, but once you step in, you're transported to a beautiful, old-school steakhouse that oozes charm and character.

The service was impeccable, with a friendly and attentive team that made sure our dining experience was nothing short of excellent. The menu was a delight, especially the French Dip that was a revelation – imagine a steak sandwich taken to the next level, dipped in the most savory meat juice. The prime rib was the star of the show, cooked to perfection, and the sides were just as impressive, although the baked potato could have done with a bit more flair.

The live music added an extra layer of enjoyment to our evening, creating the perfect backdrop to the delicious meal. And for those who appreciate a good drink, the whiskey selection was commendable, with talks of introducing a flight of tasters – a fantastic idea for connoisseurs and novices alike. It's a place I can't wait to return to, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for that classic steakhouse experience with a side of great vibes.

Here's some background: the place was recently sold, so it's not "Clyde's" anymore, even if they haven't changed the sign. Also, worth noting that this place originally began as the "Coon Chicken Inn", one of a small chain which also had outlets in Seattle and Salt Lake City.
