Recently, I had the pleasure of dining at Copper River Restaurant & Bar, a cozy spot that's perfect for a romantic evening or a casual meal. The service was notably impressive, with staff members who were attentive despite being in training. The restaurant's North Korean-inspired decor added a unique touch to the dining experience. I started with the ginseng chicken soup, which was a standout with its tender chicken and whole ginseng root, offering a rich and authentic flavor. However, the snow crab was a bit of a letdown due to its fishy smell, which might not appeal to everyone.
The stone pot mixed rice was another highlight, generously topped with sauce and fresh vegetables, making it a must-try. For those with a penchant for seafood, the Louisiana prawns were simply delicious, and the bread pudding was an absolute delight, ending the meal on a high note. Despite a few hiccups with service errors and some dishes like the cod fish tacos and stuffed salmon being served at less than ideal temperatures, the overall quality of the food was good, and the vast menu ensures there's something for everyone. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to try more of their offerings!
