If you're on the hunt for a new sushi spot, Sushi Kuni & Izakaya in West Linn might just be your next go-to! The restaurant boasts a clean and comfortable setting with ample parking, making it easily accessible. During my visit, I was impressed by the variety on the menu, though some dishes were more memorable than others. The standout for me was definitely the sushi. The fish, imported directly from Japan, was exceptionally fresh and the sushi was expertly prepared. The nigiri melted in my mouth, and the creative rolls, like the Spider Roll with its crispy tempura, were a delight. The service here deserves a special mention too. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, striking the perfect balance between being attentive and giving diners their space. The ambiance is quiet and private, ideal for both casual outings and business lunches. While the call buttons on the tables were a bit confusing at first, they did add to the authentic vibe of the place. Overall, Sushi Kuni offers a solid dining experience with its superb service and high-quality sushi.
