Recently, I ventured into Soo Rah, a restaurant nestled on Central Ave, and it was nothing short of a culinary revelation. The interior, adorned with charming Korean decor, sets a vibrant yet peaceful ambiance. My meal kicked off with a delightful miso soup, complemented by a variety of small dishes to enhance the flavors. I opted for the seafood bibimbap, which was a feast for the senses. The crispy rice paired with what seemed like perfectly cooked mussels was the highlight, and the overall dish was a flavorful journey.

The commitment to freshness and quality at Soo Rah is evident in every dish. Fellow diners have raved about the mushroom and tofu soup, which is said to be exquisite, and the organic edamame seasoned with garlic that leaves a lasting impression. The owners take pride in their craft, fermenting their own kimchi and ensuring every ingredient is top-notch. Despite a previous disappointing experience with a beef stone pot bibimbap and a seafood pancake, it's clear that Soo Rah has many gems in its menu that are worth exploring. This place is a testament to the art of Korean cuisine, and I am already planning my next visit to delve deeper into their menu.

Don’t know who you are but this place is lousy, rude service by an older male waiter, very cranky , food was very slow coming of the kitchen, its like they have one hot plate there. It was a disappointing event. I was the only white person there, the rest of my family at the table are asians 7 people the asian family members were treated nicely, their food was timley but my tonkatsu was served last, my chop sticks were tossed in my direction, the dish was abysmal and over cooked very dry, when I asked for teriyaki sauce It was a bother, i got a rude humpff noise from him , so I couldn’t be certain if I was getting my sauce…..the restaurants was not crowded , maybe two other tables with just two couples. The cost of the dinner was well above what it should be, the restaurant smells strange… no cooking of food smells, I found that very odd when we first walked in. Needless to say Im sure it does not come as a surprise… I’ll never go back and Im certain they don’t care.
