Recently, I had the pleasure of dining at Yoli, a spot that's been getting some buzz in the Bend Foodies FB group. The restaurant offers a delightful array of Korean dishes, each presented with a unique flair. Among the standout dishes were the Kimchi Jeon and Dolsot Bibimbap. The Bibimbap, served in a sizzling hot bowl, had perfectly crisped rice and flavorful beef, though I found myself wishing for a bit more spice. The Gwapyeon dessert was a highlight with its perfect sweetness, contrasting with the overly sweet Sesame Cake which I'd probably skip next time. The atmosphere at Yoli is a blend of casual and fine dining, with artful decor that complements the culinary experience. Despite a few hiccups with service when the restaurant got busy, the staff was generally commendable, managing multiple roles with grace. It's clear that Yoli is a passion project for its owners, who aim to offer something truly special in Bend's dining scene. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to explore more of their unique and stylishly crafted menu items.
