If you're a fan of vibrant flavors and cozy dining experiences, Lil' Shalom is a must-visit spot. From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance captivated me with its open kitchen and the inviting sight of a wood fire oven. The burnt beef ends hummus topped with pastrami and roasted jalapeño, served alongside fresh pita, was a standout dish that left me craving more. The grilled octopus with smashed potatoes was another highlight, offering a decadent taste with every bite. For vegetarians, the Shalom Y’all Plate with some of the best falafel I’ve ever tasted is a fantastic choice.
The outdoor patio was a delightful place to enjoy a classic hummus and fries, perfect for sharing. Despite a simple walk-up counter service, the food itself was a star, bursting with incredible flavors that ensured I'd be returning for more. The restaurant also takes health safety seriously, checking vaccination status for indoor dining, which added a layer of comfort to the experience.
Lil' Shalom not only impressed me with its culinary delights but also with its fun and welcoming atmosphere. It's a place where every dish promises a unique taste adventure, making it a standout in the local dining scene. Whether you're in for a quick snack or a full meal, this spot is bound to leave a lasting impression.
