Your Oregon News asked readers in an unofficial survey whether they have fun plans for Spring Break.
About 35% of readers said they do have fun plans for Spring Break scheduled this year, while 65% said they do not. About 40% of readers said they have a vacation planned; 26% planned day trips and outings; and 40% plan to staycation.
From cruises to Hawaii, to San Diego’s warm sun, to Palm Springs, to the Evergreen Space Museum in McMinnville, to traveling to the Philippines, our readers reported they have all kinds of fun plans.

Reader: “I'm a late bloomer and finally fulfilling my dream by taking college courses at 72 years young so for Spring break, we plan to go drive the coast and walk the beaches. I love the ocean and the waves, so serene, and we hope to find a globe down at the Lincoln City beaches.”
Reader: “My son just got a new bike. He is 16 and has autism so it's his first real bike that he isn't terrified of. I'm so excited for so many bike rides!”
Reader: “I plan to work and have my kids stay home.”
Reader: “First take my fur baby to Pocahontas dog park to let her race around with her buddies. Then later I want to take in a movie and a soak at the Kennedy School in Portland. Finally end the day with a fire in the fire pit and drinks with friends on my patio.”
