The winning ticket in Saturday’s Powerball drawing for a jackpot totaling $1.3 billion was sold in Oregon, making one lucky person the victor of the game’s fourth-largest prize.

    The winning numbers for Saturday’s drawing were 44, 27, 52, 22, 69 and Powerball 9.

The ticket was the first jackpot winner since the first of this year when another player took home a smaller prize.

Now, the Oregon player will be able to choose between annuitized payments or a lump sum of $621 million, both before taxes, Powerball shared.

Saturday’s jackpot marked the eighth largest among US lottery jackpot games after ticket sales pushed it further than it previously estimated, a press release from Powerball said.

While the Oregon winner was the only one to match all six numbers, seven other tickets matched all five white balls to win $1 million. Those tickets were sold in Arizona, Delaware, Florida, Iowa, Massachusetts, Michigan, and Wyoming, Powerball shared in its release.

There was a delay in the drawing on Saturday, which was supposed to take place at 10:59 p.m. EST but was delayed more than three hours after one lottery needed additional time to complete the required pre-draw procedures.

Like the Mega Millions, which has also had a $1 billion winner of at least one jackpot this year, the Powerball’s top prize will reset, giving players another 1 in 292.2 million chance of winning big.
