Silver Oak —a leader in crafting exceptional wines out of the Napa Valley & Alexander Valley of California—proudly announces the launch of Prince Hill Vineyards . Located in the Dundee Hills AVA of the renowned Willamette Valley, Prince Hill joins the portfolio of award-winning wine brands.
This new venture is a testament to the profound connection between land and wine. In 2016, a friendship with Oregon wine pioneer Dick Erath bestowed an opportunity—to become stewards of the historic site. Well-known for its distinct location, Prince Hill Vineyards is widely considered one of the premier locations in the Dundee Hills AVA. Its combination of elevation and aspect provides an optimal growing climate. It is also the stateside origin of Pinot Noir Clone 95 from Burgundy's Clos Vougeot, planted by Dick Erath.

“ It is a true privilege to be a part of the amazing winemaking community of the Willamette Valley and the Dundee Hills AVA. So many brave pioneers – like the late Dick Erath – pushed boundaries to establish one of the world’s great winemaking regions ,” says Proprietor and CEO David R. Duncan.
Winemaker Chris Burrough has deep roots in Oregon and a passion for the community and local wines. “ I am excited to help shepherd the vision for Prince Hill Vineyards and showcase the extraordinary potential of this growing region to wine lovers everywhere .”
Prince Hill Vineyards will launch with the release of three wines from the 2022 vintage: Willamette Valley Chardonnay (SRP: $75), Dundee Hills Pinot Noir (SRP: $70), and a Prince Hill Vineyard single vineyard Pinot Noir (SRP: $95). The wines will be available beginning in September, and can be acquired at princehill.com .
