“This will ensure you arrive at the stadium with ease, making your journey more enjoyable,” the UTA said in a press release.

The event — an annual fireworks show and concert — is scheduled to start at 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 4, with a performance by the Jonas Brothers, but there will be activities in the west parking lot ahead of the performances.

To get to LaVell Edwards Stadium, you can take the UVX from the Provo Central Station or Orem Central Station to the BYU Stadium Station.

The UTA has asked attendees to exit the stadium as soon as possible.

“UVX will begin departing the stadium immediately after the event ends, as buses reach capacity,” the UTA said.

If heading toward Orem, visitors are advised to exit the stadium to the southwest and board the UVX at the Paleontology Museum on Canyon Road and University Parkway. The northbound UVX will make stops at University Place, Utah Valley University, and the Orem Central Station, as well as all other stops in between.

If heading toward Provo, the UTA said visitors should exit the stadium to the southeast and board the UVX at the BYU Stadium Station. The southbound UVX will make stops at the BYU North Campus Station, BYU South Campus Station, Center Street Station, and the Provo Central Station, as well as all other stops in between.

How to catch the FrontRunner train after the event

The UTA said the last regularly scheduled FrontRunner train is expected to leave the Provo Central Station at 9:53 p.m.

“A final special event train will run from Provo Central Station north to Ogden Central Station and is expected to depart between 11:20 and 11:40 p.m.,” the UTA said.

The special event train will wait for all UVX buses to return, and it will wait until all passengers have transferred from the bus to the train, according to the UTA. The train will “make all the usual stops between Provo and Orem,” the UTA said.

The FrontRunner may hold for up to 15 minutes while waiting for UVX buses coming from Stadium of Fire, the UTA said. More information is available on the UTA website .
