Golf Announces 2024 Fall Schedule
The Canisius golf team will take part in five fall events, starting Aug. 31 at the Alex Lagowitz Memorial tournament in Hamilton, N.Y., head coach Todd Hummel announced today. In all, the Golden Griffins are set to play 13 rounds of golf during the 2024 fall campaign, with three events being 54 hole tournaments, and two outings featuring 36 holes. The Griffs' first tournament of the season, the Alex Lagowitz Memorial, which is hosted by Colgate, is one of those 54-hole events. This will mark the fifth time Canisius has opened the fall season at Colgate's Seven Oaks Golf Course in Hamilton, N.Y., since 2014.
Average home sale prices are up over 20% in these 2 Onondaga County towns
Syracuse, N.Y. — Average home sale prices are up at least 20% so far this year in two towns in Onondaga County, according to new data. The average price is now $346,100 in Marcellus, up 26.3% from this time in 2023, according to data from Central New York Information Service Inc., an arm of the Greater Syracuse Association of Realtors. The average in Pompey is $525,200, up 22.8% from this point last year.
