Scouts from Troop 652 spend week together at reservation
Thirty Scouts from Troop 652, sponsored by St. Dunstan’s Episcopal Church in McLean, recently completed a week in the woods at the Rodney Scout Reservation in Maryland. While at camp, seven scouts from the troop advanced in rank. The troop earned a total of 86 merit badges and competed in the camp’s Iron Scout Competition, which included running, canoeing, rock-climbing and archery. Four Scouts auditioned to participate in the Closing Campfire and were selected to perform.
