Battlefields Foundation seeks conservation easement to add property to Toms Brook Battlefield Park project
TOMS BROOK, Va. (WHSV) - The Shenandoah County Board of Supervisors will consider a conservation easement later this month for a historic property in downtown Toms Brook. If approved, the easement will be a key next step in the Shenandoah Valley Battlefields Foundation’s mission to create a battlefield park in Toms Brook and be able to preserve it for the future.

GREENSBORO, N.C., June 15 — Luray High School rising senior Davey Johnson took 6th place in the National Elite division at the Adidas National meet in Greensboro, N.C. In the course of medaling in the prestigious meet among elite competition, Johnson also took another LHS record from his father, Paul Johnson, running 4:21.27 in the 1600 meters. Dr. Johnson, now an assistant superintendent for Page County Public Schools, set the previous record in 1984.
